VISIBILITY: A Selection of Black Deaf and Disabled Performance Artists
In recognition of Black History Month, VISIBILITY brings together a global selection of trailblazing black deaf and disabled performance artists. Each artist featured is not only celebrating culture and exploring identity, they are also innovating, educating, and creating space to inspire new realities and ways to move forward. The virtual exhibition celebrates the aesthetic sensibility of the black disabled community, using the performance arts as a vehicle for producing raw and exciting new narratives of acceptance and adaptation.
VISIBILITY opens virtually February 5th 2021 at 12PM EST at Ikouii.com.
