BOOK #2 LAUNCH AT OUMA
We are still on a HIGH from our book launch event last Saturday! You just had to be there! This was the most transformative event we have ever had in our 6 years at Ikouii! There were tears, laughs, and community! Thanks to all the wonderful people who joined us in Atlanta as well as those who watched online from around the globe as we celebrated disability arts and culture with the launch of our second book, INSIDE THEIR STUDIO: Deaf & Disabled Artists Reshaping the Arts!
We thank the amazing Oglethorpe University Museum of Art for hosting and sponsoring our book event. Thank you to the Communications Department, the DNSO/Disabled & Neurodivergent Students of Oglethorpe group, student volunteers, and amazing community at the Oglethorpe University. We thank all our awesome accessibility providers for providing access to all our artists and attendees with disabilities.
We thank all the amazing artists who traveled from all over, shared their stories and their talents with us! We thank all those who purchased a copy of the book as well as those who donated and signed up to volunteer at Ikouii! We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you all at the next event! The book will continue to be available inside the bookstore at OUMA.
