ENTRY FEE
Entry fees must be paid in full via PayPal to The Ikouii Creative (www.paypal.me/ikouii) to be considered for inclusion in any exhibitions or events.

What is my fee used for?
Ikouii strives to keep entry fees as low as possible. All proceeds from entry fees fund exhibition-related expenses such as space rental, hanging supplies, wine for reception, website development, transaction fees, accessibility needs ( Captions/ CART/ Audio transcriptions/ etc ), staff hours, press and promotional efforts, and more.

HOW MANY WORKS SHOULD I SUBMIT?
Please refer to the specific exhibition or event prospectus page for details.

SUBMISSION OF IMAGES
Ikouii accepts only digital images in JPEG format for consideration. Image file must include title and artist name (ArtworkTitle_ArtistName) along with an image list that details: medium, dimensions, and price.

Ikouii will retain the submitted images of accepted artwork and reserves the right to use the images in publications and exhibition publicity provided that the artist is always credited. Beyond such use, the artist retains full copyright of exhibited work. No CD Submissions

Maximum size and weight limits for artworks
Unless noted on the exhibition page, the general maximum artwork size for both 2D and 3D works is no more than 48’ on any side (without frame). The maximum weight is 33 pounds/ 15kg. Artwork sizes and weights are maintained to ensure Ikouii can manage the installation, display and safety of the artworks on temporary exhibition. If applying for an online exhibition, please disregard this term.

How do I price my artwork?
The pricing of your work is up to your own discretion with a maximum value set at $2700* ( except the Ikouii Open).  Unless noted otherwise in the exhibition or event prospectus, please ensure you include the 30% commission fee for the total price of your artwork.

AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE
Submitting your entry for any exhibition indicates that you agree with the terms and conditions of entry and exhibit as outlined in this prospectus, that you have sent the entry fee, and that you agree to make your work available and will ship/deliver it to the gallery or venue should it be selected for the exhibition.

DO NOT submit an entry form if you cannot follow through. Do not double-book your work, commit it to other conflicting exhibitions, or sell it without securing its availability for our exhibitions or events, after submitting to this project.

HANGING SYSTEM OF ARTWORK
Must have D-rings hanging system unless noted otherwise – Exceptions for installations, film media, and sculpture work. Please contact us for special arrangements. If applying for an online exhibition, please disregard this term.

FILMING/PHOTOGRAPHY
Artists who are participating in any exhibition agree to accept to be filmed on the day. In addition, Ikouii has the right to copy and/or reproduce the Works and to communicate and/or issue such copies to the public in connection with the exhibition, for advertising the sale of the Works, for educational and public workshops, and for general marketing or promotional purposes, and other related activities, including without limitation the incorporation of images of the Works within promotional and marketing materials, postcards, social media channels, and the Ikouii website.

DELIVERY AND RETURN OF WORK
All work accepted for the exhibition must arrive ready to install. Works not gallery-ready, or not exhibiting good craftsmanship, may be omitted from the exhibit. Accepted work that differs significantly from the entry images or suffers from poor presentation, will be disqualified. – If applying for an online exhibition, please disregard this term.


Please note that professional-level presentation and craftsmanship is a must.
Work may be hand delivered or shipped. Shipped works must be sent in an easily reusable container/packaging with return shipping prepaid.  Works will be returned in the same manner as delivered or via UPS/USPS. All work must arrive at the Gallery or receiving location by the specified date.

  • Accepted work will remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
  • Works not claimed within 30 days of the end of the exhibit will become the property of The Ikouii Creative (unless special arrangements have been made with Ikouii )
  • The artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the gallery/venue.

If applying for an online exhibition, please disregard this term.

​INSURANCE
While the artwork will be treated with absolute care by the Ikouii staff, the artist is advised to take out their own commercial insurance to cover their work in transit (two-way), and during the exhibition period – at their own discretion.

Our gallery is secured with a security system, cameras, and staff – we will take every caution to secure you work. However, your work will not be covered on our insurance in any way except if the exhibition is stolen where there was violent/breaking entry or exit, then to a maximum of $5000, and minimum $100 for any one piece. We do not accept any responsibility for damage to your artwork from accidental damage, damage while hanging or un-hanging the work. We will take every appropriate precaution that no damage is done to your artwork in these processes. If applying for an online exhibition, please disregard this term.

SALE OF ARTWORK
Artworks are required to be for sale to be included in our exhibitions with the EXCEPTION of the IKOUII OPEN. It is required that you list pricing on each work. The Ikouii Creative will retain a commission of 30% of the sale price on all artwork sold during any exhibition unless noted otherwise. Artists set the sale price on each work submitted, and in doing so should account for all logistical costs, framing, etc. related to making the work exhibit-ready.

In online exhibitions, the artist is responsible for shipping the sold artwork to the collector. In addition, artists must hold a current PayPal or TransferWise account to accept payment of sold artwork.
