The Life of Boo

My name is Ross Forbes. I work under the pseudonym “The Boo”. The Boo is the person I am when I paint and write. I have an Honours Degree in Art and Philosophy form Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. The work explores identity and promotes (I hope) individuality in the viewer. The work is produced in a metaphorical Forge, where life becomes real. I explore individuality in my paint and express my being as well as technical aspects of visual understanding which I like to “play” with. I am currently reading Friedrich Nietzsche’s Metaphysics, which has shaped the way I perceive reality and aspects of that which we call “real”. I hope to make you more like you when you view my art.
