At Ikouii, we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, while working to provide support and opportunities for artists with disabilities and providing support for inclusion at cultural institutions throughout our pages.
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website for all people, and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines. We have added a number of helpful accessibility features. These include a toolbar toggling between high contrast, large print, and de-saturated (grayscale) views and contrast option between two provided hexadecimal color values.
Visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing can request an ASL Interpreter. Please submit your request to the Ikouii Gallery at least 72 hours prior to the event or class. We make every effort to provide captioning on all our video content.
Visitors with mobility impairments, designated parking spaces for vehicles with a disability permit are available in at the front entrance of the gallery. Restroom is handicap accessible and special seating can be requested.
Visitors with medically necessary supplies including freezer packs, IV bags, and portable oxygen are permitted at the Ikouii gallery. Please ensure that gallery staff understand that your equipment is medically necessary.
Visitors with service animals are welcome at the Ikouii Gallery. Service animals may be relieved behind the property. It is expected that the handler will clean up after the service animal. Trashcans are located in the back entrance. Therapy dogs and emotional support dogs while not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act and are also permitted inside the Ikouii Gallery so as long as they are not disruptive.
